Only 72 Days to Go!

As of today, we are 29 weeks and 5 days pregnant! Hard to believe that we only have 10 or so weeks to go.

Baby preparations are coming along, a bit slow I'll admit, but like I said previously, we are taking baby steps! We picked up our rocking chair and ottoman this past weekend and we are absolutley in love with it! It looks perfect in the little baby's room. And it is SO comfortable! I don't think we will be dreading the late night feedings, knowing that we have a comfy spot to feed the baby.

We went up to Moscow, Idaho last week to celebrate Karin's graduation from the University of Idaho. Chad was in seventh heaven while shopping in the bookstore for the baby's University of Idaho Vandal wardrobe.....think football jersey, onsie, hat, socks, bib etc. I think we will need to get some additional Idaho State University gear so that the baby doesn't favor one school over the other!!!

We had our final ultrasound last week. Our doctor's office offers 3D and 4D ultrasounds. I have no idea how it works, but the pictures are amazing. We are able to see the little one's face. We still don't know if it is a boy or a girl, but from the pictures, the baby looks like a little old man! Chad is convinced that the baby's face looks like me. Lucky kid huh? = - )

This weekend we are off to our 'babymoon', our last real vacation before baby's arrival. We are looking forward to a lot of rest, relaxation, fun and sun on our visit to Scottsdale!

Wow - time has just rushed by! The only thing to show real change is the length of your hair. Maurine, not Chad! Plus the bump! Baby looks like Maurine, but will probably morph back and forth between the 2 of you, for the 1st few months. Can't wait to meet baby and hear his/her special noises. Almost here!
Love, Mom and Ed

You two look great! Have a blast in Scottsdale. Eat at the Roaring Fork on Scottsdale road north of the mall a block or two. The best spa in the world is the Camelback spa at the Marriott, worth spending the entire day, space out the services because sitting by the pool is the best part. Go to caroline commons to shop, and the Nordstrom rack on North scottsdale has the best designer collection I have ever seen. HAVE FUN!!!!!- love ya Cayce and Andre
