So this past week we took some small baby steps in getting ready for the arrival of our little one. On Saturday we went to the Sutter Roseville Hospital for a tour of the Family Birth Center. We are very fortunate that we will be delivering at such a nice hospital. Chad keeps telling everyone we know that it is like a resort. Maybe for him it will feel like a resort, but for me, it will feel like a place that I am having a baby at!!! Nice to know he is looking forward to a quiet, relaxing stay at the hospital!!!
We also went and picked out the furniture for the baby's room...crib, dresser/changing table and rocking chair and ottoman. We also purchased our stroller which ended up being a bit more challenging than we anticipated to put together! I am sure that we have many more difficult contraptions to assemble together in our new life as parents that we can look forward to!
One of the more fun developments with the baby is that we are now able to see my tummy move when the baby kicks. The movements aren't huge, just a few pops and jiggles, but it is still exciting to see.
Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for checking in on the development of our little family.

You two should be in the magazines - real people enjoying the magic of expectancy! You both look so good! Must be in the genes! Love Mom and Ed
