Baby Room Transformation has Begun!

My wonderful parents and sister came to Sacramento for the weekend to get us started on the makeover of the baby's room. While Chad and my Dad worked ferverishly to install wainscoting in the baby's room, the girls all went out for lunch and shopping for baby registry items! Probably not too fair to leave them with all of the hard work, but I think they were happy to have us out of their hair!!!

After we moved all of Chad's sports stuff out of the room (a two day process, not even kidding), the room was ready for step one of the makeover! The guys removed the old baseboards, added new, freshly painted ones, then installed the wainscoting and matching molding. We are now in the process of looking for furniture and will be painting the wainscoting soon. Can't paint the walls until we know what we are having and we won't know that until the baby's birthday....

We felt the baby move for the first time a couple weeks ago. We have been having a lot of fun feeling the little one and following the movements. The doctor says that the baby is very active. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. We did find out that the baby apparently likes to do somersaults after I eat french fries....we think that is the baby's Idaho roots coming through!

As you can see from the photo, my tummy continues to expand.......people keep telling me that it will go back to normal someday....I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!

24 weeks and four days pregnant with only 108 days to go! I know it will come fast, but it feels like July 31 is SO FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well!
