Summertime Fun

We have had a fun and very busy summer this year. July began with Miss Molly turning one year old. We can't believe how fast time has flown. She is such a good baby and so funny! She has such a personality and we are having a ball watching her grow and develop. Molly's birthday was a swim party celebrated at our community clubhouse and swimming pool. She enjoyed her party and swimming, but wasn't very into her birthday cake. She pushed it around her high chair and then started sending pieces off her tray onto the floor. Oh well, maybe birthday cake is an acquired taste.

I started back to work at the end of July so at the end of my first week (two whole days!) we thought I might need some R&R so we headed to Tahoe for the weekend and had the best time. We stayed at Northstar and enjoyed all of the amenities...Chad golfed with his friends, Molly and I had a girl's lunch out, we took advantage of the pool with the beautiful view of the mountains and took the gondola up the mountain for even more amazing views. So funny that we ran into Chad's Uncle Ron and Aunt Gina halfway up the mountain....such a small world!
